The client was a 48-year-old man suffering from the amputation of his left arm below the elbow and right leg below the knee due to electrocution at work.
It was two months before Muharram last year when he visited our center. His first question was whether his prosthetic arm would arrive by Ashura.
There were several wounds and blisters on the stamp skin on his arm and leg. We managed to control his leg skin condition with a gel liner so he could walk using the knee prosthesis, but his arm skin took a while to heal. Ashura 2018 was his first year as a eulogist with the religious congregation.
